My name is Prep Curry, a fashion designer from Memphis, Tennessee. In 2016, I left Memphis to pursue opportunities in California, where I successfully grew my career and brand. Among my achievements, I became the first Black man to launch a fashion line with Banana Republic, gaining national recognition.

 

Despite my success, I have never forgotten my roots. One of my core goals has always been to give back to my hometown and create opportunities for Memphis to shine on a larger stage. This commitment led me to host my July 2023 fashion show in Saddle Creek, and now, I am proud to present Memphis Urban Fashion Week (MUFW) 2025,

scheduled for May 29th–June 1st, 2025.

Memphis Urban Fashion Week (MUFW) aims to highlight Memphis and surrounding area designers, providing a platform for exposure and community unity. Our goal is to grow MUFW to the scale of renowned fashion events like NYFW and LAFW, drawing visitors to Memphis.
